March 1, 2026
Dear Patients of Riverview Psychiatry,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing to inform you that my outpatient practice will be closing on June 30, 2026. As many of you know, I have taken the position as Medical Director for Parkridge Valley Child and Adolescent Acute and Residential services. This, in addition to my work with the Parkridge Valley Residential Campus, is reducing my availability in the office. I’ve decided it’s best to step away from outpatient practice.
I will continue to see patients and provide care through June 30, 2026, although with plans for reducing availability over the next 30 days. I encourage you to begin the process of transferring care as soon as possible.
Your medical care and well-being remain my top priority during this transition. I encourage you to establish care with another provider as soon as possible to ensure continuity of care. If you need assistance locating a new provider, you may contact your insurance company for a list of in-network physicians. For many of you, your primary care physician may be willing to continue care. Three clinics I recommend highly for psychiatric medication management are:
Scenic City Alliance of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy– https://www.scapsychiatry.com/
River City Counseling– https://rivercitycounseling.net/
Agape Youth Behavioral Health: https://youthbehavior.com/
Your medical records will remain confidential and securely stored. You may request a copy of your records or have them transferred to a new provider by submitting a written authorization form before or after the closing date. Please be patient as we manage the volume of expected request. To request records, please contact us:
Phone: 423-443-2120
Fax: 423-425-9923
Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your healthcare journey. It has truly been an honor to care for you.
With sincere appreciation,
Marie Beasley, DO
